A massive new restaurant is set to open in Liffey Valley next month, creating 60 jobs and providing a variety of cuisines from all over the world.

Food chain Cosmo are opening a 280-seater restaruant at the popular Dublin shopping centre on the N4, and there are already plans in place for the opening of two further restaurants in the Dublin area in the next 18 months, which would bring the number of jobs created to over 150.

Cosmo is an award-winning restaurant chain with 16 branches across the UK, including a Belfast branch which opened in 2012.  The restaurant chain has a “cook fresh, eat fresh” philosophy and the new restaurant in Liffey Valley will offer a variety of cuisines from around the world as well as live cooking stations, including Teppanyaki, which will provide a theatre of tastes, aromas and sounds - a dining experience unlike any other.

Speaking about Cosmo Group and the creation of 150 jobs for Dublin Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality, Frances Fitzgerald TD stated, “I am delighted to welcome these 60 jobs to Liffey Valley and to the Dublin area, and pleased that COSMO decided to locate their first restaurant outside of the UK and Northern Ireland her in Liffey Valley. This is another welcome investment in Liffey Valley, creating jobs for local people and families throughout the West Dublin area. This investment and creation of such a large number of new jobs, shows great confidence in the area.  I wish the Management and staff the best of success, in particular in the build up to Christmas, which is always a popular time to enjoy a meal out with friends and family.”
